Welcome catalogers, librarians and all those interested in learning about the world of the cataloging librarian! CATABLOG is the blog of the Cataloging Section of ARLIS/NA, The Art Libraries Society of North America. We welcome contributions on the topic of cataloging within the art library community. Please share relevant resources, projects, cataloging hacks, tips and tricks or news from your library! Are you working on an intriguing cataloging project at your library? Have you eliminated your backlog? Have you recently cataloged something really cool and would you like to share it here? We’d love to hear from you.
As we get started we will be reaching out and contacting members of the Section for contributions. We look forward to providing a platform for the cataloging community to share their experience and knowledge.
